6 Nights Hotel & 7 Days Car - This package allows you to stay in some of the best Flores hotels while exploring the rich culture, fauna, and flora of this marvelous Island. Take an enjoyable drive through S. Miguel's main towns and villages. Days can be added or subtracted from itinerary. Please let us know during the process of submitting the reservation if you would like to customize this package, and we'll provide you with a quote.

 

 

Flores Points of interest:

  • The Rocha dos Bordoes – Solidification of basalt into vertical fluting.
  • Aguas Quentes – Small hot springs of boiling sulfurous water.
  • The peaks of Sete Pes, Burrinha, Marcel and Morro Alto (which at 3000 feet or 914 m is the highest point on the island).
  • The seven lakes in the central part of the island make for a magnificent landscape, especially Lagoa Funda (Deep lake).
  • The Waterfall of Ribeira Grande at Fajazinha drops hundreds of meters and has at least twenty waterfalls many of which drop into the sea.
  • The Groto de Enxareus, an enormous cavern, about 164 feet (50 m) long and 82 feet (25 m) wide.
  • The Bay of Alagoa – A group of islets and peninsulas.
  • Fajazinha – A characteristic village by the sea with picturesque ruins of water mills.

    • Superior/Premier – Includes first class 4-star lodging and Sea view rooms. Triples Room won't be possible with sea view at Hotel do Canal, when this island is on the package.
    • Comfort/Standard – Includes 4-star tourist class lodging and standard rooms. May include first class 3-star lodging.

    • Rates are per person in US dollars
    • Rates don't include city taxes when applicable and must be paid directly to the hotel.
    • Package can start any day of the week and all year round.
    • International flights are not included. Inter-Island flights are only included on the Multi-Islands packages and on the itinerary informed.
    • We don't book Seat Assignments. This service has an extra cost and needs to be done by the client with the airline directly after the tickets have been issued.
    • Private program, except in Flores Islands for the 5 Island Classic Tour
    • Day tours can be scheduled in a different order due to services organization.
    • Dates shown are for tour land departure. If you are taking an overnight flight to reach the tour departure city plan to book your flight one day earlier than date shown on table
    • Rates do include inter island Airfare as per the program.
    • Some Triple rooms can have the 3rd person on an extra bed that may not be too comfortable for an adult.
    • Triple rooms with sea view are not possible at Hotel do Canal ( Superior Category). We may book a different Hotel or change booking to a Double Sea View+ 1 triple Sea view - Price supplement to be informed.

General

Booking your vacation

  • While prices are shown in $U.S dollars, we can also charge in Euros at the prevailing currency conversion daily rate
  • Early booking is advised. Availability of accommodations and inter-island flight is limited especially in summer months
  • If hotels named in itinerary are not available at time of booking, alternate similar same rating properties will be confirmed, and subject to new quote.
  • Order of islands visited may need to be altered due to flight schedule changes
  • Unless otherwise indicated, sightseeing tours are by private car with English speaking driver. Other languages are available upon request
  • Quotations with different hotels have a non refundable deposit of $50. Deposit will be credited towards final booking price

Booking your Vacation with Air

  • International airfare for this package is additional to price shown on Rates table. Departure cities are limited to those serviced by SATA International (Azores Airlines)
  • If you want a quote for airfare to be included make sure to check yes when prompted during the booking/reservation request process

Booking Conditions

  • A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $350 per person per vacation is required to book and hold both land and air for you.
  • Final payment is due 50 days before departure
  • Option to pay full price up front is available

Cancellation Policy - Land Portion

  • $350 per person if canceled up to 50 days prior departure.
  • 25% of total reservation if cancelled 49-39 days prior departure plus any other additional fee.
  • 50% of total reservation if canceled 38-31 days prior departure plus any other additional fee.
  • No refunds if canceled less than 30 days prior departure.

Cancellation Policy - Airfare

  • Airfare cancellation terms and conditions will be provided to you before ticket is booked

Refund Fees

  • A 3.9% credit card assessed fee will be subtracted from any refunded payment, including deposits refunded due to services requested not available for date of booking.

Booking Changes

  • A fee of $35 per person, per transaction, will be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. 
  • If the change increases the value of the booking, the $35 per person fee will be waived

Surrounded by green hills on the island of Flores, the Inatel features rooms with balconies offering panoramic ocean views and standard land view rooms. It has an oceanfront garden with swimming pool and sun terrace.

All soundproofed rooms feature contemporary décor and hardwood floors. Each room is equipped with free Wi-Fi and satellite flat-screen TV, while the bathroom comes with bathrobes and a hairdryer.

Each morning, the Inatel Flores serves a buffet breakfast in the dining room. Its restaurant offers fine dining and the well-stocked bar is open well into the evening for drinks.

Guests are welcome to relax in the Flores’s garden with its poolside terrace and barbecue area overlooking the Atlantic. Many pretty hiking and cycling trails can also be found nearby.

Hotel Flores is half a mile from central Santa Cruz, the island’s capital. Calderas National Park is a 30-minute drive away and free on-site parking is available.
