This 11-day, 10-night Portugal and Azores vacation combines four nights in Lisbon with six nights on São Miguel. It includes flights between Lisbon and Ponta Delgada, hotel transfers and guided highlights in Sintra, Cascais, Lisbon, Sete Cidades and Furnas.
The itinerary balances three scheduled sightseeing days with free time in both destinations. It is suited to travelers who want important arrangements made in advance without following a guided program every day.

This package suits travelers who want to pair a European capital with the volcanic landscapes of São Miguel while retaining several unscheduled days. Guided touring is shared rather than private unless your quotation states otherwise.
Travelers should be comfortable with two domestic flights, hotel changes and walking on historic paving, steps and uneven sightseeing areas. Weather can affect crater-lake visibility and the sequence of island touring.
This is not a continuous escorted tour. Those who prefer private guides, daily included sightseeing or additional Azorean islands should request a customized program.
Day-by-day itinerary
Flight times, tour routes and operating days may change. The descriptions below show the planned itinerary; confirmed arrangements appear on your vouchers.
Day 1 — Lisbon — Arrival
Arrive at Lisbon Airport and transfer to your hotel. You will spend two nights in Lisbon before flying to São Miguel.
Day 2 — Sintra, Cascais, Belém and Lisbon
Join a small-group minivan tour combining Sintra and the Lisbon coast. The planned program includes the Pena Palace area, free time in Sintra, Cascais and a panoramic introduction to Belém and central Lisbon. Confirmed admissions appear on your voucher.
Day 3 — Lisbon to São Miguel
Transfer to Lisbon Airport and take the included flight to Ponta Delgada. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for a six-night stay on São Miguel.
Day 4 — São Miguel — Sete Cidades tour
Join a half-day tour to the Sete Cidades volcanic complex, with views over the Blue and Green Lakes and a stop at a pineapple plantation, subject to weather and visibility.
Day 5 — São Miguel — Furnas tour with lunch
Explore Furnas on a full-day guided tour with lunch. Planned highlights include geothermal landscapes, the traditional cozido meal and the tea-growing region. Park and thermal-pool admissions are not included unless stated in your confirmation.
Day 6 — São Miguel — Free day
Enjoy a free day in Ponta Delgada or request another island activity.
Day 7 — São Miguel — Free day
Use the day for independent sightseeing, relaxation or an optional excursion.
Day 8 — São Miguel — Free day
Enjoy a final flexible day on São Miguel.
Day 9 — São Miguel to Lisbon
Transfer to Ponta Delgada Airport and fly to Lisbon. Transfer to your hotel for the final two nights.
Day 10 — Lisbon — Free day
Spend the day exploring Lisbon independently or request an additional guided experience.
Day 11 — Lisbon — Departure
Transfer from your hotel to Lisbon Airport for your onward flight.

Ponta Delgada - Lince Azores Hotel

While prices are shown in USA dollars, we can also charge in Euros at the prevailing currency conversion daily rate.
Early booking is advised. Availability of accommodations and inter-island flight is limited especially in summer months.
If hotels named in itinerary are not available at time of booking, alternate similar same rating properties will be confirmed, and subject to new quote.
Order of islands visited may need to be altered due to flight schedule changes.
Unless otherwise indicated, sightseeing tours are by private car with English speaking driver. Other languages are available upon request.
Quotations with different hotels have a non refundable deposit of $50. Deposit will be credited towards final booking price.

International airfare for this package is additional to price shown on Rates table. Departure cities are limited to those serviced by SATA International (Azores Airlines).

Booking Conditions
A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $350 per person is required to book and hold both land and air for you.
Final payment is due 50 days before departure.
Option to pay full price up front is available.
Cancellation Policy - Land Portion
Full-payment minus the $350 deposit per person is refunded if canceled up to 50 days prior departure.
75% of full-payment paid per person if refunded if cancelled 49-39 days prior departure.
50% of full-payment paid per person is refunded if canceled 38-31 days prior departure.
No refunds if canceled less than 30 days prior departure.
Cancellation Policy - Airfare
Airfare cancellation terms and conditions are those of the Airlines company and will be provided to you before ticket is booked.
Refund Fees
On any payments made via a bank credit card, a 3.9% bank credit card assessed fee will be subtracted from any refunded payment, including deposits refunded due to services requested not available for date of booking.

Are the Lisbon–São Miguel flights included?
Yes. Round-trip flights between Lisbon and Ponta Delgada are included. International airfare to and from Portugal is separate unless added to your quotation.

No. Scheduled sightseeing normally operates on shared small-group or group services. Private alternatives may be requested and repriced.
How many nights are spent in each destination?
The package includes four nights in Lisbon and six nights in Ponta Delgada on São Miguel.
Is lunch included on the Furnas tour?
Yes. The scheduled Furnas tour includes lunch. Other lunches and dinners are not included unless specifically confirmed.
Are entrance fees included?
