This full day tour provides a firsthand experience with the volcanic origins of the Island and it takes you to the unique, mystic and beautiful place, Furnas Valley. Visit the extinct volcanic crater of Furnas Lake, swim in a thermal pools, sample invigorating medicinal natural waters and taste the famous “Cozido das Furnas” (Furnas stew) a traditional meal cooked in underground silos and powered by the natural hot springs activity that surrounds this unique area.
