Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Terceira
Arrive at Lajes Airport and transfer to Angra do Heroísmo for a three-night stay at a 4-star hotel. Terceira, the third-largest Azorean island, is steeped in history. Explore UNESCO-listed Angra do Heroísmo, once a vital stop for treasure-laden European ships. For panoramic views of the city and Monte Brasil, hike up the hill behind the public gardens.
Day 2 – Full-Day Tour of Terceira
Join a full-day island tour, visiting Porto Judeu, São Sebastião’s historic church and "Império," and Praia da Vitória. Enjoy panoramic views from Serra do Cume, explore the lava tube of Algar do Carvão (June–Sept), and unwind at Biscoitos’ natural lava pools before returning via scenic villages.
Day 3 – Leisure Day in Terceira
Explore Angra do Heroísmo at your own pace. For stunning views, visit Monte Brasil’s scenic trails and historic fortresses.
Day 4 – Terceira / Faial
Fly to Faial, then check into your 4-star hotel in Horta for a three-night stay. Horta, known for its yacht harbor and colorful murals left by sailors, has been a key transatlantic crossroads since the 14th century.
Day 5 - Half-Day Tour of Faial
Visit Caldeira, the island’s highest point, and Capelinhos, the site of the Azores’ last volcanic eruption. Learn about the island’s geological history at the interpretation center. Explore Praia do Almoxarife, one of Faial’s most beautiful beaches, and admire views of Pico Island from Miradouro da Nossa Senhora da Conceição.
Day 6 - Full-Day Tour of Pico
Take a ferry to Pico Island, home to unique volcanic landscapes and UNESCO-listed vineyards. Visit a whaling museum and explore traditional stone-built villages such as Lajes do Pico and São Roque do Pico before returning to Faial in the evening.
Day 7 - Faial / São Miguel

Day 8 - São Miguel - Full-Day Tour of Furnas
Meet your guide for a full-day visit to Furnas, a region famed for its geothermal activity.Discover the geothermal wonders of Furnas, including steaming hot springs and the famous volcanic-cooked dish, Cozido nas Caldeiras. Visit the lush Terra Nostra Botanical Garden, take a dip in the warm iron-rich waters, and stop by Lagoa das Furnas for picturesque views.
Day 9 - São Miguel - Full-Day Tour of Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo (Fire Lake)
Explore the breathtaking twin crater lakes of Sete Cidades, visit the stunning Lagoa do Canário viewpoint, and admire the dramatic volcanic scenery of Lagoa do Fogo (Fire Lake). Day 10 - São Miguel / Lisbon

Day 11 - Lisbon | Sintra | Cabo da Roca | Cascais | Estoril | Lisbon
Step into a fairytale in Sintra, home to the colorful Pena Palace and charming village streets. Savor local pastries before visiting the Colares wine region. Continue to Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point, then pass by Guincho Beach and Boca do Inferno en route to Cascais, a stylish coastal retreat. Conclude the day with a scenic drive along the Estoril Coast back to Lisbon.
