Days 1 to 2
Welcome to Lisbon! Upon your arrival at Lisbon Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and taken to your hotel. After checking in, enjoy a delightful 2-night stay in Lisbon, with accommodations on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Discover the Enchanting "City of Seven Hills" Take time to immerse yourself in the allure of Lisbon, a city celebrated for its rich history, cultural gems, and stunning views. Whether exploring historic landmarks, lush gardens, or intriguing museums, the Portuguese capital offers something for everyone.
Full Day Sintra and Lisbon Tour (Small Group Tour by Minivan) Departure from a meeting point.
Experience a full-day tour of Sintra, Cascais, Belém, and Lisbon. Begin with a guided exterior visit of Sintra's UNESCO-listed Pena Palace, exploring its gardens and scenic viewpoint (ticket included). Enjoy free time in Sintra’s historic center for shopping or lunch (not included). Next and after lunch, visit seaside Cascais, where you can explore the beach or town center at your leisure. In Lisbon, take a panoramic tour of Belém, view the Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, and Jerónimos Monastery, and sample Pastéis de Belém ( sample included). Conclude with a city tour highlighting Lisbon’s main districts and landmarks such as Estrela neighborhood, the São Pedro Alcântara viewpoint, Cais do Sodré, Avenida da Ribeira das Naus, Praça do Comércio, Largo Camões, Rossio and Restauradores.
Days 3 to 8
Departure from Lisbon to São Miguel, Azores Check out from your hotel in Lisbon and head to Lisbon Airport for your 2-hour flight to São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores archipelago. Upon arrival at Ponta Delgada Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Ponta Delgada for a relaxing 4-night stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
Half-Day Sete Cidades Tour (Daily tour, departing around 09:00) Embark on an adventure to one of Portugal's 7 Natural Wonders: Sete Cidades. Marvel at the stunning Green and Blue Lakes, which, according to legend, were formed from the tears of a shepherd and a princess in a tale of forbidden love. Along the way, visit a pineapple plantation and take in the awe-inspiring views of São Miguel’s landscapes.
Full-Day Furnas Tour with Lunch (Daily tour, departing around 09:00) Explore the volcanic wonders of São Miguel on an engaging tour of Furnas, a region famed for its geothermal features. Witness bubbling fumaroles and sample the distinctive "Água Azeda," a mineral-rich water. Visit one of Europe’s oldest tea plantations and savor the traditional “Cozido das Furnas,” a hearty dish slow-cooked underground using volcanic heat. After lunch, enjoy the tranquil beauty of "Parque Terra Nostra," where you can relax with a rejuvenating soak in the thermal pools. Note: Entrance fees are not included. What to Bring: Comfortable lightweight clothing, closed-toe shoes, a light jacket, sunscreen, a hat, a backpack, water, and snacks.
Days 9 to 10
Return to Lisbon Check out from your hotel in Ponta Delgada and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lisbon. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel for an additional 2-night stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
Day 11
Check out from your hotel in Lisbon and transfer to Lisbon Airport for your departure.
