This tour will depart from your hotel at around 9:00 AM. The first stop is the crater of Fire Lake (Lagoa do Fogo), where the beautiful, calm and serene lagoon can be admired with all its majestic landscape. The visit will continue to the valley and lake of Furnas, passing by Lagoa, Agua do Pau and Vila Franca do Campo. In Furnas you can witness the delivery of the famous and traditional cooked "Cozido a portuguesa" well sealed and buried in silos in the abundant volcanic springs that surrounds the lake. The cozido is transported and served in a local restaurant. After lunch you will visit some of the points of interest in the beautiful Furnas village including the calderas park. The return to Ponta Delgada is through some breathtaking landscapes, shortly you will be arriving back at the hotel around 6:00 p.m.
