Overview

Discover a region full of beautiful landscapes, lush landscapes and fantastic viewpoints.
Visit the Gorreana Tea Plantations, the oldest tea plantations in Europe. See the oldest tea fields in Europe.
Then head to the Furnas to explore the valley and dive into the thermal springs to relax and connect with nature.
After visiting the thermas, stop for lunch at the Furnas. Try the famous mixed meat cooked or many of the other menu options.
After lunch, visit the lagoon and stroll a little to appreciate the surrounding area.
After visiting the lagoon, it is time to go to Villa Franca to see the world famous island.
Finish your Ponta Delgada tour with a visit to the pineapple plantations.

1. The only fields of tea in Europe. We are the only region in Europe that produces tea. You can try the tea for free and roam around the fields.
2. Short stop at a viewpoint offering an iconic view over Furnas Lake, one of the most emblematic landscapes of the Azores.
3. Hot Springs where you can bathe in the hot springs and have a relaxed time while you contemplate the nature around.
4. Nature is everywhere in this region. You will find a big lake, some hot springs where you can bathe and eat food cooked in the heart holes.
5. Stop near the lagoon and see the iconic Chapel of Our Lady of Victory, a chapel with a very distinctive style.
6. Stop in Villa Franca do Campo, where you can see the famous Villa Franca do Campo Islet.
7. Here you will have a tour inside the plantation and at the end you can have a drink or a quick snack at the plantation bar.
