Not a guaranteed nine-island network
The former claim of weekly May-through-September service across all nine islands is too broad. Current routes are seasonal and date-specific.
Central Group strength
Faial–Pico crossings and selected Faial–Pico–São Jorge services remain the most practical ferry connections for visitors.
Flights between groups
Air travel remains the safer itinerary basis between the Western, Central and Eastern groups.
Booking policy
Azores.com does not book a stand-alone ferry ticket; ferry arrangements may be included when they form part of a larger package of services.
